Day 21: Allen

I told my parents about Allen but I don't think I mentioned it on here! Allen is a friend of some of the teachers at Bond and he wanted to practice his English.  So every morning he picks up Nikki, Ashlee and I  and he drops us off at Bond!  He is super nice, and very funny, but it can be so hard to understand him sometimes!  Our conversations are usually pretty lighthearted, but today he was asking some very very odd questions!  Imagine Allen's voice in a thick Chinese accent, and ours very very confused and giggly:

ALLEN: So if mosquito attack you, do you kill it or let it be?

US:  we kill it. we don't like bugs.

ALLEN:  if plant attack you, do you kill it?

US:  umm...where we come from plants don't usually attack people...

ALLEN: oh..haha..what if brother attack you?  Do you kill him?

US: no.  we defend ourselves..but to kill another person is murder..

ALLEN: what if your parents attack you.. do you kill them?

US:  no..you can't kill people, that's murder.  You would just defend yourself,  even if it was your parents.

ALLEN: oh.  what if you attack yourself and then you die?

US:  Umm that's called suicide...

ALLEN: oh, okay.  Have a great day teaching!  See you tomorrow!


Than we all got out of the car, confused and looking at each other like what just happened..it was so funny! Probably one of the most different conversation I have ever had! Though I still like Allen a lot! :)

Day 19+20: no more oatmeal

I ran out of oatmeal today :(   It has been my daily routine to wake up at 6:00 each morning and eat oatmeal with bananas! so so so yummy!

Other than that,  nothing new Monday or Tuesday!

Day 18: walmart:)

Day 17: Family!

I miss my family so much! tonight we all sat around showing each other family photos! :) it was so fun to see every ones families! and they all said my family was so cute! That my mom and dad where super funny!:) I am so grateful that my parents were so supportive of me to do this semester abroad! :) I love them so much and I miss them more and more each day! And everybody was saying that me and Emmy (my little sister) were complete opposites! (which is odd hearing that, I'm so used to people saying we look like twins!) I love you Mom and Dad! and Emmy, Austin, Dominic and Doug! :) and grandma and grandpa, and Muga and Puga! :) Thank you for all the Love and support! :)

Day 15: planning!

We planned our first vacation today! super exciting! :) We are going to Shenzen! and to a safari park! :) Yay!

Day 16: Coco

Today was super fun! We went to a smoothie/tea place by our apartment which was super good! Than on the way back Ashlee wanted to see how much a trim was, so we stopped there, and she ended up getting a hair wash/hair trim/full body massage/head massage for about 8 American dollars! That is so crazy! While she was doing that, we where reading magazines and talking to one of the hairdressers named Coco, he was super funny and actually knew some of the other ILP teachers that where here in the spring! He gave us his phone so he could follow us on instagram! He showed us a CTR ring that he had on.  He was so nice and really funny.

After we got back from the hair place, we went to the gym with Ashlee, Sarina and Nikki! I feel so proud of myself for going everyday.  I feel so fit and healthy! I'm eating so much better than i was at home! :) It feels good! :)

When we got back from the gym we took showers and got all cute and dressed up to go to this Pizza/coffee place, that was super fun! (sometimes you just need a little taste of home!:) me kyle and Sarina shared a spicy chicken pizza which was SO SO good! Sarina was taking pictures so I had her send me these!:) they are super hideous looking so don't mind them:P but it was a super fun night!:)

Day 14: getting pumped;P
